Paper Polly: Brought to you by the Bookaneer Review: Trash (by Andy Mulligan)

As we come to the climax of the story we reviewed last time, Trash (by Andy Mulligan), we discover that Raphael's in trouble and about to be killed by the police. Oh my! But Raphael was brave and a brave boy he was, so he gave himself the strength and courage to "lie" to the police. I believe what gave Raphael the strength to "lie" to the police was the overall knowledge of the mystery and truth behind the bag and its items. In some way, Raphael felt deeply for Jose Angelico and wanted to keep unraveling the mystery behind his death. The police was going to throw Raphael out the window of the police headquarters in the attempt to kill him. Raphael gathered the strength from within that maybe was also partly due to the responsibility he felt for his aunt and little cousins, thinking also of his close friends, Gardo and Rat. He knew that he must take the risk of losing his life in order to protect those he loved. This is why the only clear path he could take was not to tell the police the facts but to be smart enough to disclose some information that would mislead them into thinking he knew nothing and would set him free. His plan worked and he was lucky this time to escape with his life but the wonder still remains... What does this mystery hold for Raphael and his fellow friends, and how will it be solved in time??? Find out in the next amazing part of Trash! (will be posted sometime in the upcoming month)
